Idis Elba: No Limits – 9pm, Discovery UK

The Luthor star turned-DJ gets behind the wheel for this new motoring show, starting with him making his rally driving debut. We think Idris would make a perfect sidekick to Mr Evans if anyone at the BBC is listening…

Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents – 9pm, BBC Three.

We still have no idea why any parent would want to appear on this show, but thankfully some do, because this is car-crash tv of the best kind.  Basically, a couple of teens go on holiday and what they don’t know, is their parents are watching the whole thing thanks to secret cameras.  Proper cringe.

Russell Howard’s Stand-Up Central – 10pm, Comedy Central UK.

Russell Howard introduces some of the UK’s finest new stand-up talent in this mostly spot-on show. Double-bill.

King for a Term – 9pm, Sky Arts.

Not content with driving cars, DJing and acting, Idris Elba turns is hand at Directing for this one off film, in which he also stars.  His ten year old self learns an important lesson in life, when he is sent to a school for children with learning difficulties because of his asthma.  Warren Brown guest-stars.

T in the Park – 9pm, BBC Three

BBC Three kicks off it’s weekend of coverage life from Scotland, with performances from Rudimental, Sam Smith and Kasabian among others.

Game of Thrones – 9pm, Sky Atlantic

If you’ve never seen it or just want to watch it again, Sky Atlantic begin it’s marathon run of all five seasons tonight, as we go back to the very beginning…
